The Beginning
Cluthes began with a passion for creativity and a desire to do things differently. Before starting the brand, founder Matthias Kask was selling used graphic tees and other apparel, connecting with people through each piece. Once everything was sold, Matthias realized it was time to create a brand that reflected his own vision—designing clothes that combine quality, individuality, and timeless style. And so, Cluthes was born.

Brand Name
Choosing the right name and logo was the first step in bringing Cluthes to life. After selling countless used clothes, Matthias decided on the name “Cluthes,” where the “u” replaces the “o” in the word “clothes.” This subtle change represents his journey—from selling used apparel to creating his own unique brand. The “u” is a reminder of where we started and how far we’ve come, embodying the personal story behind Cluthes.
